Speeding up transitions
As an organization, we are committed to accelerating transitions to just and sustainable societies. This makes interaction with sustainable regimes, such as the fossil industry, a precarious balance. That is why we explicitly mention our conditions for interactions with this industry here and also three questions that we ask to discover whether connections are really important from people and planet.
Putting this on paper has been a challenge and we intend to repeat and adapt this process in previous years. We hope to continue to learn what is and what is not a certain interaction. While we feel our decision has been roughly in equities with these terms and questions in the past, we had never made it explicit before. Publishing this document is also an open invitation to you, our readers and enthusiastic critics, to hear what you believe is real and effective in accelerating transitions towards justice and sustainability.
